In 2018, Milo & Me, a kids’ eyewear brand owned by the Hilco Vision Group, approached us with a unique challenge. They had the material for their eyewear but lacked a comprehensive design strategy. Their mission was to enable toddlers and children to enjoy playful activities, just like any other child, even while wearing glasses. The task at hand was to transform affordable injection frames into visually appealing, contemporary, and comfortable designs.
We set out to make low-priced injection frames not just functional but also visually appealing. Our designs were aimed at capturing the essence of contemporary eyewear while catering to the needs of active and playful kids. We focused on ensuring that the eyewear provided a comfortable and secure fit, allowing children to engage in various activities without any discomfort or distraction. Our designs aimed to instill confidence in kids by offering them eyewear that not only met their practical needs but also made them feel stylish and good about themselves.
