The challenge was to merge the minimalist yet iconic design language of AYM’s contemporary jewellery collection with the functionality and aesthetic appeal of eyewear. The goal was to create sunglasses that captured the essence of AYM’s Scandinavian roots while offering a modern, unique twist on classic eyewear shapes. The double bridge design was to be reimagined in a way that felt fresh and unconventional, while maintaining a high level of elegance and comfort.

We collaborated with AYM on eyewear design, creative direction, and production to craft two elegant sunglasses that reflect the simplicity and timelessness of Scandinavian design. Drawing inspiration from AYM's jewellery, the sunglasses were designed with lightweight stainless steel frames and flexible temples, ensuring a comfortable fit. The two models take a contemporary approach to classic shapes, incorporating an unconventional double bridge that adds a modern edge to their minimalistic aesthetic.
